ニューファンドランドの礼拝でSOSもカバーしているクリスチャンソング「Forever」の紹介です。
歌っているのはカリ・ジョブ（Kari Jobe：発音はキャリとかケアリのほうが近いかも？）。カリさんは、Gateway Churchというテキサス州の教会のWorship pastorでもあるそうです。Worship pastorは、直訳すると「賛美牧師」という感じになりますが、クリスチャンミュージックを通した聖職者のような役割のようで、主に教会で賛美の指導をする人のようです。
彼女のライブ映像を見ると、賛美は単に歌を歌うことではなく、祈りだと感じさせられます。ライブで体を弾ませるように、跳ねるように歌う姿は、聖霊に満たされているのでしょうか。
「Forever」は、イエスの復活を歌ったもので、聖句にある場面がそのまま描写されています。
